Brief Introduction of Al-Jamiatul Qadriya (India)
All praise is due to Allah. We praise Him and send blessings and peace upon His noble Messenger.
Allah has made knowledge a light by which people are guided, and ignorance a darkness in which a person wanders without direction.
India is one of the largest democratic and secular countries in the world. A number of religions, cultures, languages, and civilizations live together here. It has a rich and ancient history. Bihar is one of its well-known states, which nurtures numerous Islamic seminaries and educational centres. One of the most prominent religious institutes is Al-Jamiatul Qadriya, located in the Katihar district of Bihar, India.
By the grace of Allah, the institute has been growing and developing remarkably by leaps and bounds. This institute has earned a prestigious position among the people through the sincere efforts of its dedicated teachers, administrative committee members, trustees, and donors in teaching religious and modern sciences. It has produced beneficial students for the community who embody Islamic ethics.
Current Departments
Dars-e-Nizami Department
Alhamdulillah, a large number of students have been fortunate to receive education through the Dars-e-Nizami syllabus. This year, admission is open from Class Edaadiya to Class Rabiya in Darse-e-Nizami.
Hifz, Tajweed, and Naazirah Department
This department focuses on teaching Quranic pronunciation (makharij), rules of Tajweed, Islamic studies, and basic modern subjects under the supervision of skilled and qualified teachers. It includes a residential (boarding) section for students and an external section for both male and female students.
Request for Financial and Moral Support
This institute has no permanent source of income and relies entirely on the support and donations of generous believers and well-wishers of Islamic education.
Therefore, we kindly request the rich, the kind-hearted, and the philanthropists to extend their magnanimous hands towards our needy institute.\

so that the students can be supported properly for the sake of Allah, and the institute can progress continuously without interruption.

UPCOMING PROJECTS
Boys’ Hostel Building
By the grace of Allah, the number of students is growing every year. The current building (three rooms and one mosque) is not enough to meet their needs and requirements.
Therefore, the administration and trustees have planned to construct a new three-story building to provide an Islamic environment and enhance the education of the Muslim community’s children. The building will include:
- Residential rooms
- A large library
- Classrooms
- A dining hall
- A computer lab
- A guest house
- A conference and seminar hall
- Rooms for the teaching staff
Girls’ Hostel Building
The management plans to open a separate institute for girls so that the light of knowledge spreads in Islamic homes, and our daughters are adorned with Islamic values, strong morals, and are protected from deviation.
Al-Qadri Masjid
The foundation stone of the Qadri Masjid has been laid, and the main structure is completed by the grace of Allah. However, due to limited resources, the following work is still pending:
- Tiling and marble
- Painting
- Electrical fittings
Also, the existing three rooms (mentioned above) also urgently require essential renovations.
English Medium School
To meet the challenges of the modern era and current demands, the institute aims to build an English-medium school that combines Islamic and modern education. This will produce righteous, educated, and capable generations who keep pace with global civilization, love scholars, religion, and their homeland, and call to goodness and reform.
Words of Gratitude and Appreciation
The administrative board and trustees extend their heartfelt thanks, deep gratitude, and immense appreciation to all the generous benefactors who have provided financial and moral support to achieve the institute’s projects. This includes constructing the residential building for students, providing food, paying teachers’ salaries, and other charitable services. The institute hopes for your continued sincere cooperation and participation in the monthly support system (sponsorship) to realize future projects.
